We look forward to welcoming author Laurie Wallmark to celebrate the publication of her first children’s book, Ada Byron Lovelace and the Thinking Machine. Laurie writes in many different genres, from picture books to middle grade novels, poetry to nonfiction articles. She won the 2010 SCBWI Runner-up Work-in-Progress Grant for Nonfiction and has been published in Highlights for Children,Spider, Cricket, Appleseeds, and other children’s magazines. . When she is writing she is busy teaching at Raritan Valley Community College.
